University of Toronto: How to choose your courses for course enrolment | step by step guide

Описание: Hi guys! omg its been a while I've been super busy with summer school and exams and course selection ;) but today im going to be going over a step by step guide to course enrolment at the University of Toronto and exactly how to choose your courses! Below are all the links you need and I also included the steps for clarity!

Steps:
1. look through the programs to find possible majors/minors you want to declare in second year! Look if they are limited or open, and see the required first year courses in order to get into the program if it is limited!

2. Add these courses into the timetable builder linked below by directly putting in the course code!

3. Look through the course search/course list (same as timetable builder) and use the filters to find first-year level courses in different breadth requirements to find electives! Be sure to add in some first-year seminars as they serve as great electives and transitional classes from high school to uni!

4. Once you know your prerequisite/required courses for your possible programs, and also have an extensive list of possible electives you want to take (taking into consideration breadth requirements), you can add them into the timetable builder!

5. Make multiple backup timetables as classes fill up fast and you want to know what overlaps with which courses so you can have them on stand by on course enrolment day!

6. Add all your main courses into ACORN under the enrolment cart!

7. On your enrolment day and time, log into ACORN and enrol in your classes!
