Tottenham Hotspur have said farewell to their home ground of 118 years; White Hart Lane. The team played their last match on Sunday 14 May.
Spurs will spend a minimum of one season at Wembley Stadium before returning to north London and its new 61,559-seat arena.
From Bill Nicholson to Glenn Hoddle, from Jimmy Greaves to Harry Kane, Spurs fans have cheered on their heroes from the terraces since the ground opened way back on the 4th September 1899.
We spoke to club legends Ossie Ardiles and Ricky Villa, and former striker and coach Les Ferdinand to hear their thoughts on one of England’s most iconic football stadiums, while the Evening Standard’s Tom Collomosse and Richard Parry offer us a glimpse into the future, and a nod to the past, for this famous London football club.
