Hey family!! In today's video we're making gingerbread pancakes, winter steakhouse chili, and we go to a Christmas Parade!
Gingerbread Pancakes recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/4 tsp ground ginger (I put 2 1/2 tsp in the video, but it was a little too much 😉)
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1 1/2 cups milk
1/3 cup maple syrup, or molasses
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs, and 1 egg yolk
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
Mix all dry ingredients until well blended and then add the wet ingredients.
Winter Steakhouse Chili recipe
Ingredients:
2 pounds ground beef
1 pound ground sirloin
1 white onion, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
3 cans tomato sauce
1 can tomato paste
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies
3 tablespoons chili powder
salt and pepper, to taste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
Directions:
Cook ground beef, ground sirloin, onion, and peppers in a large skillet until meat is cooked through, drain. Transfer meat to a large pot and add all other ingredients. Bring to a simmer, turn to low and let simmer for at least 15 minutes.
