It is the twenty-fifth instalment of the video game series based on WWE, the 11th game under the WWE 2K banner, and the successor to WWE 2K24. Its "Bloodline" and "Deadman" special editions were released on March 7, 2025, and its standard edition and deluxe edition (with Roman Reigns on The Cover) were released on March 14, for PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
