We were hoping for a slow, relaxing Sunday in the Tucson desert, but the van life grind had other plans. Between dog-unfriendly BLM spots and a never-ending to-do list, today was a reality check. Tucson is breathtaking, but it turns out "beautiful" doesn't always mean "dog-friendly." After scouting a BLM spot that was essentially a minefield of jumping cholla cacti, we had to call it.
Follow along as we tackle the less-glamorous side of life on the road: errands, water fill-ups, and ultimately settling into a casino parking lot. We’re officially prepping for our massive cross-country trek—the calm before the storm!
