In this video I explain how I put a fiberglass epoxy seal on the paddle I just built.
First I lay the fiberglass directly on the wood. Then, I pour the mixed clear coat epoxy at the correct ratio onto the fiberglass cloth and spread it around with a squeegee. I applied 3 coats. I wait about 4 hours between recoating so the layers bond to each other correctly. After the final coat has cured I sand the lumps out and apply 3 coats of Epifanes varnish.
