I typed back: Surprise me. Fair warning—my family thinks I'm terminally single.
His response: Not for much longer. Time to make an entrance.
We'd agreed to keep things quiet until after Emma's wedding. But Alexander had insisted on attending. "I'm not missing your sister's wedding," he'd said. "And I'm tired of pretending we're not together."
Bradley's father stood for his toast. "To Emma, who convinced my son to give up his bachelor lifestyle. Unlike some women—" he glanced at me, "—Emma knows success isn't everything. Sometimes you need to prioritize relationships."
