The Bass Are Biting on Toledo Bend!

Описание: Here it is! The February Bass Champs #tournament on #toledobend #lake

Now if you've been #fishing Toledo during this month and January you guys and gals already know Toledo Bend has been fishing very tough. Between the icy cold fronts, fishing pressure and big winds it's just been hard to fish.

Once again we have nasty weather on tournament day and Bass Champs called for a trailering event. This definitely was the right call.

So Cole and I picked an area that we don't really fish often but knew it would be well protected from the heavy northeast wind. A major front was blowing in around 9am and the winds were going to gust to 35mph.

We caught 1 big keeper before we had the camera rolling. We started recording about 7:25am after it was safelight, and we could remove our anchor light. (Gotta follow the tournament rules and state boating laws)

One thing that helped us is we used our #livescope to find stumps and isolated grass patches in two to six feet of water.

We would throw chatter baits, spinnerbaits and rat l traps around that structure to catch our bass.

We had a couple of nice upgrades during the rain that you guys didn't get to see. Maybe on the next tournament we'll have nice weather and will catch some bigger #bass
