I can confirm VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) works with the PS5 and this monitor (MSI MAG 274CXF) so players can enjoy 120Hz + VRR for a buttery smooth experience! You must go into the monitor settings menu (use the red joystick behind the monitor, press down for 2 seconds) and turn on Adaptive-Sync, it's located at the very bottom in the gaming tab, then the PlayStation 5 console will show VRR as supported. You should also do this as well when using the monitor with a PC for the best experience! 👍

The monitor supports 280Hz when connected to a PC via DP (Display Port) HDMI will only offer 240Hz and no FreeSync, so to get the absolute best out of this monitor use a Display Port cable. For AMD GPU users, the monitor offers FreeSync Premium, this also means this monitor is G-Sync compatible for Nvidia GPU users.
