What an amazing way to wrap up Shona Week! Our learners vakadada nerudzi rwavo — proudly celebrating their culture and heritage. 💛
A special thanks to @rutendojackie and her band for their outstanding performances that lit up the stage! Even the so-called “ama2k” couldn’t resist — dancing non-stop to the vibrant Shona tunes.
We were all incredibly entertained by Ms. Rue’s captivating Detembo, which left the audience in awe! 🌟
A heartfelt thank you to the Shona Committee for their beautiful rendition of “Mhoroi” by the Harare Mambos — a true nostalgic moment! And thanks to every one involved in the curation of this spectacular event.
