Kevin Porter decides to impress Christa by crafting her a necklace. To obtain the necessary gems, he ventures to a pterodactyl’s nest atop a mountain and takes several precious stones. Upon returning, the family’s treehouse is ransacked, and the gems go missing. Kevin hastily accuses their Paku friend, Stink, of the theft, given Stink’s prior interest in the jewels. Despite Stink’s protests of innocence, Kevin’s mistrust leads to tension between them. 
As events unfold, it’s revealed that the true culprit is the pterodactyl, which had retrieved its stolen gems. In a twist of fate, Kevin becomes trapped in the pterodactyl’s nest, and it’s Stink who comes to his rescue.
