You will have unforgettable impressions, sitting opposite the yacht harbor in Moraira, on the small sandy beach El Portet, watching the sunset behind the Penon de Ifac and the sailing ships and boats coming into the harbor getting docked. The 1,5 km distant main beach of Moraira, which is partly sandy, partly rocky migrates into a steep coast, with beautiful bays - very inviting for swimming and snorkeling.
Between Moraira and Calpe is the little town Benissa. The beautiful, new residencial areas are stretching over green hills down to the sea. That's why sporadically you have an overhelming view from the Cap of Moraira to the Penon de Ifac at Calpe - far out the sea. Benissa offers a free bus service along the coastline (bus schedule). The landmark of the Costa Blanca, which is called “ Penon de Ifac”, seperates the bays of the towns Moraira and Calpe. From the top of the steep coast you will enjoy wide vistas. You will find bays with sandy beaches alternating with rocky cliffs.
