Sorrento and Amalfi Coast - Bike Ride 'n Hillclimb

Описание: Ride with me along the coast of Sorrento and Amalfi. Join me on a scenic route, from Vico Equense to Positano, Priaiano, then all the way up to Montepertuso.
The ride starts off downhill, then on a flat up to the Bikini restaurant. It goes uphill to Vico Equense, then Seiano. Downhill to Piano di Sorrento. This part is all Sorrento Coast.
Then I take a left uphill across to the other side of the Pensinsula, finally downhill, past Positano, to Praiano.
The view going down is spectacular, the small islands you can see on the right are the Isole dei Galli. You can't go too fast uphill, and I am slow downhill, when holding my camera.
The sky is kind of gray, it's the end of winter, so there aren't many people on the road, which is important, because motorbikes can be dangerous here.
I have a break in Praiano, coffee and cornetto, then head back to Positano.
I meet another cyclist there, riding a Colnago.
Finally I turn right upwards to Montepertuso, which is 3km above Positano.
Montepertuso, the pierced mountain, is a charming village.
After 45km and 1000 metres elevation I get picked up by my girlfriend, who gives me a lift home.
If needs be, you can catch busses or a train, from Sorrento, Amalfi, or Salerno, to get back to Naples.
