To answer that question...it's really not that difficult to change out & retrofit an eyeball can light fixture to an LED light trim cover. Had VideoJoe ever retrofitted an existing eyeball can light to an LED style trim cover before this one? No but that didn't stop him from doing it & it shouldn't stop you either. Shoot the existing light bulb was a 65 watt flood incandescent light bulb. Do you know how much it cost to run those bad boys? A lot that's how much not to mention all the heat just one of those light bulbs put off. What if you have quite a few of those in your house? Think about that & all the extra energy you are wasting just to get some light in your house. Plus the LED style that VideoJoe put in was equivalent to a 75 watt bulb yet the LED light only produced 14 watts & after he retrofit the existing eyeball can light to this LED style trim cover & light it produced probably twice as much light as the old incandescent flood bulb.
