Conservation law placing Thailand’s Maniq identity and livelihood at risk

Описание: The Maniq of southern Thailand still depend on traditional forest hunting, but protected-area laws now criminalizse much of their ancestral way of life. A new Ethnic Protection law offers only temporary land-use permits, leaving the community feeling like guests on their own land.
