Kainosho Tadaoto Exhibition at Tokyo Station Gallery.
An exhibition of Kainosho Tadaoto is being held at the Tokyo Station Gallery. This exhibition marks the first comprehensive retrospective held at an art museum in Tokyo. Kainosho Tadaoto (1894-1978) primarily explored innovative expressions of Japanese painting in Kyoto. Around 1940, he temporarily paused his career as a painter and transitioned into the film industry. This exhibition offers a comprehensive overview of his body of work.
