Today, as the pioneer Marine Engineer of the Littoral Mission Vessel RSS Justice, ME4 Chong serves as an inspiration to the people around him – an anchor others can rely on. The Littoral Mission Vessels serve at the frontline of Singapore’s maritime defence, and ME4 Chong leads a team of five engineers in ensuring the ship’s platform and electrical control systems are operationally ready to allow the ship to undertake any tasks assigned to it.
