21 and never had a boyfriend. | Advice for Christian Women

Описание: Hi everyone! As if I could not get more open and transparent with you all, today I share my experience of being 21 and never having a boyfriend. I share this to encourage other girls who are on the path of purposeful dating with Christ as the center of their lives, to know that it is okay and perfectly normal if God has you waiting this long. For we know that God's promises never fail and that, "When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen" (Isaiah 60:22).

Throughout my life, I've been met with shock, skepticism and judgement because of this, even by my family and friends, and know that many others who might be of a certain again where being in a relationship is normal, might be facing or have faced the same. It's not always easy but when you know WHY you are choosing to wait and what God has in store for you, I promise you won't let it get to you.

The best thing we can do in our time of waiting is to place our eyes on the Lord, make sure He is number one, and that He can bring someone into our lives that we can share the same passion for Christ with.

He won't fail you, love!
