Gourikund To Kedarnath Dham Distance aprox 16.5 KM. This 16 km road you can walk on horseback or on a poni or on Pithu .

Kedarnath Pony Service Rates
Gaurikund to Kedarnath pony Rates are Rs.3000/- 3500 ( one Side ) but we went in October during diwali so rate was very cheap. they were offering 1200 for one side.
How to book Helicopter & what is the price?

Gaurikund to Kedarnath Trek
Trek to Kedarnath is begins at gaurikund. you can reach Gaurikund via shared jeep or taxi .Try to reach gaurikund as early as possible so before evening you will reach your destination gaurikund to kedarnath trek take around 7-8 hours. We reached gaurikund around 4:45am to 5:00am

Take a First Break at jungle Chatti
Gaurikund to Jungle chatti distance is around 4 KM via rambara bridge.
Second Break or Stay at Bheembali ( Jungle Chatti To Bheembali – 3 KM )
Third Break at Linchauli ( Bheembali To Linchauli – 4KM )
Main Stop for Many Devotees Kedarnath Base Camp ( Linchauli To Kedarnath Base Camp – 4 Km )
Kedarnath temple ( Kedarnath Base Camp to Kedarnath Dham – 1 KM )

If you are taking pony then they will leave you at the base camp only, from there you need to walk for 1 km to the temple.

If you are going by Heli then you reach just near the temple. you will only walk for 200-300 mts plain road.
