Homai Vyarawalla, Famous works-Homai Vyarawalla was famously documented the transition from the British Raj to independence, capturing iconic, intimate portraits of leaders like Jawaharlal Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi and Dalai Lama. Operating under the pseudonym "Dalda 13," her work chronicled pivotal political, social, and cultural moments in Delhi during the 1940s–1960s. She was amongst the first women in India to join a mainstream publication when she joined The Illustrated Weekly of India an English-language weekly newsmagazine publication in India. A pioneer in her field, Vyarawalla died at the age of 98. Google doodle honoured India's "First Lady of the lens" in 2017 with a tapestry of Indian life and history drawn by guest doodler Sameer Kulavoor.
