Landscape photography can be full of many unexpected surprises! One minute you are convinced you know exactly the sort of light and clouds you are going to get for the evening and then in the blink of an eye, it all changes. This happened to me on a shoot on the Island of Harris in the Outer Hebrides in Scotland recently. I had my eye on this particular location after stumbling upon it early on in my stay, but for almost a week, the weather had been very much unfavourable until this visit.
