I suppose it was about time I tackled something from FF9! To be honest, although I do enjoy it, the main battle theme never really stood out to me that much compared to other FF games, but for some reason I got really into it all of a sudden and couldn't wait to make a cover for it. That being said, I don't think this is my best work and it didn't really live up to the expectations I had going into it, but I still think it turned out alright. I kinda ran out of ideas during the arrangement process and ended up just doing a copypasta for the third loop just to kinda bring it home, but in hindsight I think it causes the cover to drag on a bit toward the end.

I'm also still figuring out the best way to record video with my new setup. I had the camera positioned a little too high in my lead shots so my guitar is partially out of frame, so I'm still working on a good way to place the camera. I also learned the hard way that my camera must have some sort of auto brightness/exposure setting because the lighting looks way different depending on how bright the image is coming from my TV. It can never just be easy, can it? XD

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy this one! I think I might move away from Final Fantasy and start trying to diversify my portfolio a bit with other franchises, but we'll see! :D
