In this sermon, the first in an eight-part series based on the Old Testament book of Daniel, Dr. Michael Youssef teaches from Daniel 1:1-21, showing how God shows favor on His people and has a plan that we often cannot see. In addition, he present two principles that are illustrated. Because of their obedience, God gave Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego supernatural understanding of the Word of God and supernatural understanding of the world. He also emphasizes that obedience freed Daniel and his friends, and frees us, from sin, guilt and fear. Dr. Youssef also challenges his listeners to do a deliberate act of faith that you know only God could accomplish.
