I am so proud of this interview. Why? Because the world should learn just how amazing of a human this young lad is. Early on in my journey I was astounded at how giving Scott Henderson was. He gave all his "secrets" away (on VHS). Josh reminds me of Scott. There were no oblique answers, no indirect answers..... Josh is very giving in the interview and anyone who is a fan of his will hang on every sentence.

We all want to know How to become virtuoso..., or better, "How to become a virtuoso guitarist." It's either that or, "I'll NEVER become a virtuoso." Whatever the case may be, Josh Meader tells it all in this video. Aside from that, he is a down to earth guy with a great story that everyone interested in his playing will enjoy. Guitarist Josh Meader is someone who freely tells you exactly how it's done. the interesting thing about all of this is that as an interviewer and a student of methodology for my entire life, I have noticed many of the same commonalities across musicians of very different genres. I find this comforting. It tells me, "Hey! This stuff has been figured out. There is no magic, only hard and consistent work. Josh talks about his guitar technique and explains exactly what it is that he's doing. Josh is an improviser. Whether, or not you are a riffs, or licks player.. you will certainly dig this engaging interview.
