The Miami-Dade TPO Governing Board recognized winners of the Railroad Safety Public Service Announcement (PSA) Contest, administered under the direction of Executive Director, Aileen Bouclé, AICP. The objective of this program is to increase and highlight railroad safety at stations and crossings. The TPO Governing Board is committed to working with partners to increase awareness of importance of practicing safety measures and initiatives around railroads.
TPO collaborated with Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ Career Technical Education (CTE) and South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) teams to conduct the contest. Students worked on their projects over the 2025 Fall period and were then judged during CTE’s Innovate Competition that recognizes various arts and science disciplines, including the development of PSAs.
