A little history of this Tank:
The FV4005 was an experimental British self-propelled anti-tank gun developed in the early 1950s to counter Soviet heavy tanks, particularly the IS-3. The project was based on the Centurion Mk. 3 tank chassis.

Its main feature was the colossal 183 mm L4 gun, the largest direct-fire cannon of its time, capable of guaranteed destruction of any armored vehicle. Two prototypes were built: Stage 1 (without armor protection for the gun mount) and Stage 2 (with a lightly armored, but large turret). The gun was characterized by immense power but low rate of fire due to the heavy shells and significant recoil, which limited the horizontal traverse angles and affected stability.

Despite its destructive potential, the project proved too complex, slow, and unviable due to its high weight, the weak armor of the Stage 2 turret, and logistical issues. Ultimately, the FV4005 did not enter service and remained at the prototype stage.
