The Webster CP90 is a remarkably versatile medium-duty road-heading machine. This machine can excavate tunnels as small as 2m wide x 2.9m high and is capable of cutting any tunnel profile up to 5.2m in diameter.
The CP90 is unique amongst roadheading machines. It's specially designed boom assembly offers 345° of rotation, enabling the machine to excavate the floor, face, rib and roof of a tunnel all from one position.
This astonishing flexibility makes the CP90 the ideal machine for the excavation of cross passages. The boom and cutting head can be rotated to excavate the passage whilst the body of the machine remains in the main tunnel. No other road-heading machine is capable of cutting in this way.
