A little insight into the Tarawera 102km run around Rotorua, New Zealand. Despite what you see, I did run a lot of it, it was easier to film while walking once I'd got my poles out. Hope it helps anyone thinking of entering.
Which ever distance you do, it's a very special event and perfect for anyone wanting to get way-outside their comfort zone. Most competitors can't wait to come back next year. See you on the start line!
