Since I did not have the legal rights to publish this video, it was never posted until now. Toastmasters granted me the rights. Thank you.
According to the book Speaker Leader Champion, it is one of the funniest speeches in the competition's history. The authors actually counted the number and length of the laughs in my speech. My laughs per minute (for this specific audience) are 4.86.
This seven-minute story changed the trajectory of my life. I have since gone on to speak in over 30 countries. For me, it is rare to look back and see the exact moment when your life changed forever.
