A very trip mode of the Melodic Minor Scale (the 5th mode to be exact). It has an interesting blend of sounds between a very spicy scale like Phrygian Dominant (Mixolydian b9 b13) and a happier classic like Mixolydian. The intervallic construction behind this scale is 1 2 3 4 5 b6 b7 which is how it gets its specific sound.
It's a great tool to apply anywhere from a stagnant Dominant chord track to a Blues progression and anything in between. Definitely a great scale to add to you arsenal!
