🎬 NEW 2026 | Ms. Rachel & Elmo: Get Ready for School! | ABCs, Numbers & Sight Word Reaction 🍎✏️
THIS IS A REACTION VIDEO! We are heading to school with some very special friends in 2026! Today we are reacting to: Ms Rachel & Elmo Get Ready For School - ABC Song, Numbers, Colors - Toddler & Preschool Learning.
In this Sight Word Reaction, we are focusing on "Preschool Readiness." As Ms. Rachel and Elmo practice the ABCs and counting, we’ve added bold text overlays to help your child recognize the letters and numbers as they hear them. This is the perfect way to turn "Screen Time" into "Study Time!"
📚 Why This 2026 Reaction is a Must-Watch:
The "I Need Help" Milestone: We react to Ms. Rachel using a hat to model how to ask for help! This is a huge step in functional communication for toddlers.
ABC & Number Literacy: As they sing the ABCs or count, we show the letters (A, B, C) and numbers (1, 2, 3) on the screen to build immediate recognition.
School Transition Skills: This reaction highlights social-emotional skills like putting on a backpack or waiting your turn, paired with the written words for those actions.
👶 The Toddler Perspective:
"I am learning so much from Rachel watching this video! Ms. Rachel teaches me to talk using cute little animals!" (And Elmo makes me giggle!)

👋 How to teach "I Need Help"
In the video, Ms. Rachel uses a hat to show that when something is tricky, we can use our words! Here is how you can practice this at home:
Create a "Challenge": Put a favorite toy in a clear container that is slightly too hard for your child to open, or give them a hat that is a little tricky to put on.
Wait for the Moment: Wait until they try for a second and look at you.
Model the Words: Point to your mouth and say, "I... need... help."
Hand Gesture: You can also teach them the Sign Language for help (placing a fist on an open palm and moving them up together).
Celebrate! As soon as they try to say it or make the sign, help them immediately and say, "Great job asking for help!"
