Travelling to the Empty Quarter, or Rub' al Khali, as it known in Arabic, was one part of the trip we were looing forward to the most. But travelling into the Empty Quarter alone is not without risk, so make a note of the travel guidelines detailed in this video before making the decision to head out there yourself*.
