The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (or “CBP”) has implemented the use of facial recognition at airports through the Biometric Entry/Exit program. CBP is using facial biometrics at airports to confirm travelers’ identity as they enter and leave the country. And are actively expanding this program to seaports and land ports.
