Some of our keepers spent a week out in Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, in Kenya earlier this year. Whilst in Africa they were fortunate enough to meet the anti poaching team and specialist canine unit which track down poachers and other criminal activity in Lewa and other parts of Northern Kenya. Keep an eye out for James our bug keeper in this video as he is hunted down by the canine team as part of a practice exercise!
Thanks to the canine unit's hard work and dedication Lewa has had four years of zero poaching!
