ICC fund for victims can cover those not officially part of Duterte case

Many victims of Duterte's war on drugs and the Davao Death Squad will have no chance of being admitted to the case simply because of temporal jurisdiction. The ICC's jurisdiction over the Philippines covers only the period from 2011 to 2019. However, they can still benefit from the ICC's assistance through a second mandate by the Trust Fund for Victims. Paolina Massidda, the ICC's appointed lawyer for victims, explains.
