Going virtual: Facilitating or foreclosing the justice system

Описание: On October 25, 2023 NSRLP hosted a panel discussion as part of TAG's Access to Justice Week activities. We reported on preliminary findings from our research project on SRL experiences with virtual hearings, and initiated a broader discussion on virtual court processes and the implications for access to justice. The panel consisted of NSRLP researchers, as well as Lauryn Kerr of the BC Civil Resolution Tribunal and Nicolas Vermeys of the Cyberjustice Laboratory, and was hosted and moderated by Teresa Donnelly, crown lawyer with MAG.
