दोपहर में उनके घर के बाहर एम्बुलेंस पहुंची थी और विले पार्ले श्मशान भूमि में सिक्योरिटी बढ़ा दी गई थी। इसके बाद उनका पार्थिव शरीर एम्बुलेंस से श्मशान घाट पहुंचाया गया।

His final rites were performed at the Vile Parle crematorium, where Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, and several other celebrities were present. Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the demise of legendary actor Dharmendra as a sign of the end of an era.

In the afternoon, an ambulance had arrived outside his house, and security was tightened at the Vile Parle crematorium. Later, his mortal remains were taken to the crematorium by ambulance.
