Grab your PJs, because we're having a slumber party in today's Sick Flick as we tackle Amy Holden Jones' classic slasher film, The Slumber Party Massacre!
The rare slasher film both written and directed by women (noted feminist Rita Mae Brown wrote the script, this film was originally titled Don't Open the Door and intended as a parody of popular slashers).
However, fate intervened and B-movie king Roger Corman got involved. After upping the gratuitous nudity and gore, we wound up with Slumber Party Massacre -- the touching story of a man and his drill.
Can the driller killer drill down and score a 5 barf bag rating? We'll find out today when we score this one on the Gore Card.
