SmartThings Home Monitor is a powerful tool in the SmartThings ecosystem for monitoring your home's security and taking action when events occur. SmartThings Home Monitor is basically a DIY home security system. If set-up fully it will protect your home from break-ins, water, and fire and notify you of important events.

The latest SmartThings Home Monitor (STHM) associated with the new Samsung SmartThings app cannot be controlled by third-party applications yet but after watching this video you will have full control once again.
