The afternoon was calm, and the small holiday house stood quietly among a cluster of similar cottages. Some were used for vacations, others were lived in throughout the year, yet the atmosphere remained unhurried. It was not far from neighbors, but the surroundings carried enough stillness to create a space for rest and reflection.

I settled into my chair on the veranda, pipe in hand, and let the first spark bring the tobacco to life. The mixture inside was Black Ambrosia, an aromatic blend that carried a subtle sweetness and a delicate fruity note. The Virginias gave it a gentle brightness, the Burley offered a mild, nutty undertone, and the Cavendish added a smooth, creamy body. Together they created a flavor that was both mellow and inviting, never overwhelming, but always present in a quiet, comforting way.

The smoke rose in slow curls, dissolving into the warm air as if carrying away the thoughts that had been cluttering my mind. There was a certain balance to this tobacco, a light sweetness that reminded me of ripe fruit and honey, paired with a soft roundness that stayed on the palate. It was not bold or sharp, but rather like an old companion who asked for nothing more than to sit with me for a while.
