On a soaking wet day, The Tennessee Valley Railroad has a Civil War Day complete with reenactors portraying key Civil War figures, including President Abraham Lincoln.
As we see Steam Locomotive No. 630 begin its round-trips on the Missionary Ridge Local, we board Engine No. 710 as it pulls the Chickamauga Turn, a full-day excursion to Chickamauga, Georgia, complete with Civil War History lessons, dining car experience and a layover shopping/eating experience in the town.
