Cat Taking a Bath

Mumu is doing well, still enjoys baths, says thanks to all who have watched him taking a bath .:)

April 2015 Update:
Mumu turned 9 this past January and he is doing well! He got an adopted baby brother in 2013 when his humans rescued a one eyed kitten from the street, Luigi. Mumu and Luigi don't get along all that well but Mumu tolerates him most of the time.

2013 Update:
Mumu will be 7 this coming January 17th. He appreciates the 60,000+ views! Maybe in Youtube world that isn't a big number but for Mumu that's a lot of humans to be watched by when taking a bath! :) He high paws you all for your views and nice comments! He continues to take warm relaxing baths in his spare time!

In this video Mumu was 31/2 years old. He is an all-white Van cat taking a bubble bath (with kitty shampoo of course!) :) I adopted him from ASPCA 1 1/2 years ago. He came to me front paws declawed, he was surrendered by two previous homes to ASPCA. He therefore was experiencing some psychological distress. He used to get agitated easily and bite. Since then he has gotten much better at socializing, still bites but usually because I treat him like a dog and we play a little rough :) Sometimes, I think he is a dog trapped in a cats body :) Overall, he is my baby now, I love him the way he is, and he loves us back in his own ways :)

He has gotten used to taking baths. Van Cats and Van Kedisi: Van cats have markings. Van kedisi classification represents all-white cats like Mumu. Contrary to common belief some cats like Vans actually enjoy water. He also doesn't miaw much but he "talks" only when its necessary like when he is hungry. They are also very intelligent; Mumu learned his name very quickly.
