Описание: Residents of Kiguru area in Kanuni Ward, Igembe South Constituency, have taken to the streets to protest against remarks made by their area MCA, Mugambi Chairman, accusing him of opposing water projects initiated by Water and Sanitation Cabinet Secretary Eric Mugaa.The residents claim that the MCA has been mobilizing a section of locals to resist the implementation of the projects, which they say are crucial in addressing the persistent water shortage in the area. They have urged the MCA to keep his political differences away from development matters and allow projects meant to benefit the community to proceed uninterrupted
