How to Remove Driveline Vibrations After Suspension Lift || A Look at Centre Bearing Angles

Описание: In this video I just wanted to highlight the affects of lifting the rear of 4WD vehicles in particular (namely the Mazda BT-50 / Ford Ranger) and how the lift affects the angles of the centre bearing.

This is an overly simplified look at the issue, obviously there are many things at play and a driveline expert would be best to listen to, but hopefully this helps people make sense of the issue and possible solutions. There are many more things to consider than just this one angle change.

When lifting these cars (and others) the change in angles of the centre bearing can introduce driveline vibrations, this video will show you a real life example of these angles as well as a few different solutions.

In this case we are fixing the horizontal alignment with a centre bearing spacer kit that drops the centre bearing down, but there are also different spacer kits which bolt to the rear diff to fix the vertical alignment on the centre bearing.
