We've started Chinese localisation of Tales from the Mabinogion!

Localisation for Tales from the Mabinogion is quite an undertaking. With narration in both English and Welsh, including passages of original Welsh poetry, it comes with more than its fair share of challenges! Between the quirks of Welsh pronunciation, and the need to respect a thousand-year-old text, it takes real care to get right.

And given our "indie-sized" localisation budget, we'll be very limited in which languages we can include when the game launches next year.

That's why I'm very happy to say that we've begun work on a Chinese translation!
It's already been a wonderful opportunity for me to discover some of the subtleties and nuances of Chinese, and see our words take shape in another language. I can't wait to share more with our Chinese-speaking players!
