The Cheerio Meditation is simple mindfulness technique as a first responder when you don't know what to say. Someone may have said something that catches you off guard, or is objectionable, or mean, or inappropriate. Instead of a fast reaction of saying "you jerk" - you can do the Cheerio Meditation and then respond.
We will use this technique to greet the thoughts in our own minds as a practice. I don’t know about you, but my mind, at times, comes up with mean, objectionable, or inappropriate thoughts.
I won’t ruin the creative surprise by mentioning- WHAT IS THE CHEERIO MEDITATION EXACTLY?
