I visited John Atanacio, a twenty-one-year-old film photographer, in his hometown in Japan. I followed him as he took me around Futako-Tamagawa shooting before sitting for an interview. There, sharing his beginnings as a skateboarder to becoming a minimalist, street and fashion oriented photographer, though his interest in a wide range of photography. As a strong meritocrat, John has also developed an interesting view on how it must be prominent to believe in oneself but also to balance yourself and to make judicious choices in life.
