L’ ALTAVIA | « The High Way » by Guillaume Peretti & Jean-François Hautin

Описание: The Corsican trail runner & Alpinist and former FKT holder on the GR20 trail, Guillaume Peretti, and his friend Jean-François Hautin succeeded in their complete crossing of the Cinto Mountain Range in alpine running style. This route that they named the ALTAVIA "The High Way", is for them the most obvious and the most aerial in Corsica. Details and statistics of a spectacular performance :

🏞 Full traverse through the entire back ridge of the Cinto Mountain Range, culminating at Monte Cinto (2,706 m), making it the highest on the island of Corsica.
🛣 Distance covered: ~45km
⛰ ~6000m of positive elevation gain
⏱️ 14h25mn

These numbers barely reflect the technicality and commitment of the route...
