Описание: The Mazda CX-5 – 2014’s best selling SUV, and it’s had a mid-life update for 2015. When you’re at the top, its almost a bigger challenge to stay there. If this is the car of choice for so many SUV buyers – that speaks volumes.

The updated interior looks so much better than the previous. All models now get an integrated touchscreen with Mazda’s MZD Connect. This is the Grand Touring variant, but all get a 7-inch touch screen.

The resolution is much better than it used to be – all get a reverse camera as standard – parking sensors only come standard on the Grand Touring and the Akera, Bluetooth connectivity, its MP3 player compatible and has internet radio apps like Pandora.

In the back there is a decent amount of legroom and headroom. There are bottle holders in the doors and you sit up quite high. There is an acceptable amount of boot space – 403 litres with the rear seats up, though that can be expanded to 1560L. The cargo blind is retractable and doesn’t get in the way. No need to leave it sitting to the side in the garage taking up space. The hooks are up high though, which may be an issue for those who are vertically challenged…

The Grand Touring has a 2.5-iitre four cylinder petrol engine, it’s all-wheel-drive with a six-speed automatic transmission that produces 138KW and 250Nm. It’s enough to get you about, but the diesel gets a whopping 129kw and 420Nm, while the Ford Kuga turbo petrol is 178kW and 345Nm. But put your foot down and the auto will raise the revs to access the torque you need."
