🎆 Day 1: New Year’s Eve by the Fuchun River
Arrived in downtown Tonglu just as the sun was setting. Caught a spontaneous firework display by the river—the perfect (and free!) way to soak up the holiday spirit.

Dinner: Ate at Lao Ge Ming (The Old Revolution Restaurant). It’s a local legend serving authentic, old-school Tonglu flavors.

🚶‍♀️ Day 2: The Maling Ancient Road Hike (12km | 4h | Flat Trail)
Route: Shishe Village → Maoping Village → Xiekengkou → Luci Village

Shishe Village: You have to see the reflection of the 1,270-year-old camphor tree in the water. We warmed up with "tea by the fire" at Buran Space at the village entrance.

Photo Ops: Don't miss the 1km mark (bamboo fence gap) for a panoramic view, or the 300-year-old tree and coffee truck at Maoping.

The Finish Line: Ended in Luci Village for a golden hour sunset. Found a local Shao-bing (flatbread) stall on the way—the ultimate hiker's fuel!

Dinner at Tong Lu Ren: The fish soup was incredibly creamy and fresh, and the "Zhuangyuan" sticky rice cakes were a highlight. I’d come back just for that soup!

☕ Day 3: A Coffee Lover’s Morning in Chengnan
1️⃣ Shanjin Coffee (Sanhe Rd): * Cozy wooden vibes and a Corgi "manager" on duty!

Highly recommend the Beer Latte and their limited-run bread. Their vintage playlist was 10/10—I never wanted to leave.
2️⃣ Bread & Air (5 min walk away):

Pro tip: Get here before 10:00 AM! The signature "Air Toast" pulls apart in perfect layers, and the Osmanthus Fermented Rice Ciabatta is crispy on the outside and airy inside. They sell out fast!
